No referral is required. DEN Smiles provides independent preventive dental hygiene care that complements—not replaces—the care provided by a dentist.

If you already have a dentist, we are happy to collaborate with their office. If you need dental diagnosis or treatment and do not have a dentist, we can help connect you with one.

WHAT IF I HAVE NOT RECEIVED DENTAL CARE IN A LONG TIME?

You are welcome here. Whether it has been several months or several years, we will meet you where you are without judgment.

Our focus is not on what happened in the past. It is on helping you understand your current oral health and decide what comes next.

DO YOU WELCOME CHILDREN AND FAMILIES?

Yes. We welcome families and consider each child’s age, development, comfort, and oral health needs individually.When a child’s needs are better supported in a pediatric dental setting, we will explain why and help the family connect with a trusted pediatric dentist.

WILL I NEED RADIOGRAPHS?

If you have recent radiographs from another office, send them before your appointment. We will review them and determine whether any additional images are needed.Radiographs are selected according to your dental history, current oral health, and individual risk factors. They are not automatically repeated at every visit

Please let us know about any concerns, sensitivity, or previous experiences that could affect your comfort. We take time to explain what we are doing, invite your questions, and help you feel involved throughout your appointment.

DO YOU SUBMIT DENTAL BENEFIT CLAIMS?

Yes. We submit claims on your behalf, so you do not have to manage the claim paperwork yourself.

WHAT IS A COMPLIMENTARY BENEFITS CHECK?

Before your first appointment, we verify your dental benefits, explain what your plan covers, and estimate your out-of-pocket cost. This service is provided at no charge.

CAN I VISIT DEN SMILES IF YOU ARE OUT OF NETWORK WITH MY PLAN?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We work with out-of-network PPO plans and accept assignment of benefits when permitted by the plan. We bill your dental benefit company directly, and you pay your estimated portion at the time of service.

HOW DOES CHERRY WORK

Accepted Answer

Cherry allows approved patients to divide eligible costs into smaller payments over time. The application is completed from your phone and uses a soft credit check that does not affect your credit score. Available rates and payment terms are determined by Cherry.

We provide an estimate before services are scheduled and explain your anticipated financial responsibility. Cherry Payment Plans are available for eligible out-of-pocket costs.

If you already have a dentist, we are happy to collaborate with their office. With your permission, we can share relevant radiographs, photographs, and preventive findings to support continuity of care.

If we observe something that requires dental diagnosis or treatment outside our services, we will explain what we see and recommend follow-up with a dentist or specialist whose expertise aligns with your needs. If you do not currently have a dentist, we can help connect you with a trusted provider.
