JANIECE C. ERVIN, RDH, BSDH
FOUNDER AND REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST
My commitment to whole-person care comes from both my professional experience and my own health journey. I know the frustration of searching for answers, being shuffled from one
healthcare appointment to another, and feeling talked at rather than included in the conversation. Those experiences strengthened my belief that patients deserve the time to feel heard, understand their health, and take an active role in their care.
I am a registered dental hygienist with more than 20 years of clinical experience and a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Hawaii. Since 2008, I have cared for patients throughout the Aurora and Centennial communities, building relationships across generations and through every season of life.
Beyond clinical practice, I am a dental educator, continuing education provider, published author, podcast host, and advocate for the advancement of dental hygiene. I created DEN Smiles to give prevention dedicated time and provide care centered on the connection between oral health and whole-body health.

BILLY
OFFICE MANAGER
Billy helps create the calm, welcoming experience patients feel before they ever enter the treatment room. He answers calls, coordinates scheduling, greets patients, assists with check-in, and helps explain insurance and financial information.
Known for his caring disposition and natural ability to connect with people, Billy takes time to listen and help patients feel comfortable. His goal is to make the administrative side of care feel clear, organized, and approachable.
IZZY
DENTAL ASSISTANT
Izzy is a dental assistant and pre-dental student with plans to pursue a career in dentistry. A former collegiate student-athlete, she brings discipline, teamwork, and strong communication skills to her role at DEN Smiles.
Having grown up in the Aurora and Centennial communities, Izzy is excited to care for patients in the area she calls home. She helps welcome and check in patients while supporting the clinical experience with a gentle, personable approach that helps patients feel comfortable.
